Dear All

Would It Be Incorrect To Say:

He Asked Me What I Was Doing Yesterday.

(To Me, It Sounds Correct)

And If Correct, What Is The Difference Between This Sentence And,

He Asked Me What I Had Been Doing Yesterday.

Thanks In Advance

Tom

Hi Tom

This question is the same as an earlier one. I think Conchita's explanation (Direct or Indirect speech: He said to me, "What were...) was very good.

Or do you need a more detailed explanation?

Amy
