Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. He said hi to you ( I conveyed the greetings from one friend whom I met yesterday to another friend)

2. Looks like you have got a bit of learning curve here ( I meant the person has to understand how a new software works)

3. This is a separate project than the one I mentioned earlier.

Thanks,
MG.

2. Looks like you have got a bit of learning curve here This sounds odd. What do you want to say exactly? ( I meant the person has to understand how a new software works)

3. This is a separate project than from the one I mentioned earlier.

How would you say this more formally?

I wanted to say that the person would have to put in some efforts to learn the new software system.
