Would it be correct if I rewrite this sentence 'Search for what is the real strength' as 'Search for what the real strength is'?

The second version is correct (search for what the real strength is), the first one is not. The reason is that subject and (finite) verb are only reversed in direct questions ("what is she doing?"), not in indirect questions like this one ("I don't know what she is doing"). Notice how the normal order "she is doing something" is reversed in the direct question ("is she") but not in the indirect one ("she is").
