I have a question about TOEIC listening part I, set 16, exercise 7

This is the photo.

These are the statements.
(A) The coachman is boarding the carriage.
(B) The carriage is empty.
(C) The horse is pulling the carriage.
(D) The horse is brown.
The answer is (B)
Doesn't the answer (D) work?
The horse is brown or dark brown to me.
Is the photo too unclear to say so?

P.S. In my country, we call the green traffic light BLUE light. How strange! lol
