Why are we always happy to kill each other? #1 (permalink) Sun Feb 05, 2012 12:57 pm   Why are we always happy to kill each other?

I've seen the body of one of my classmate's father who was shot in his head with a German made G-3 at a point blank range, he got only half of his head left.

I've seen two men were being stabbed in their chests with a spike used in fishing, with blackish blood oozing out from their chests. One of them died on the ambulance. The other lived.

I've seen a fresh corpse hacked with a hoe which was still stuck in his head.

I've seen all types of bloody killing scenes on films which made multimillion bucks.

I wonder why we are so happy to kill each other. Is it one of our hobbies?

kind regards.

Dear Mr. Kyaw,

I believe it is because of ego. The person is influenced by the society. It started as a child. When the child comes to the world the first thing, he learns is to see the outside because the eye is made to look out not inside. Then when he grows he is what the society believes who he is. For example, when his mother and father appraise him for going school, he will be happy. When he accomplishes something, they will praise him. If he kills thousands of people for war, the society will call him a hero. As he grows the ego also grow with him. He always tries to fit in the society.

If there is resentment in the past relationship with family, friends or work the mind going crazy because of superior ego. The ego won’t allow him to solve the problem in a peacefully way. Therefore, he will go out and kill. He is doing something that is not accepted by the society. The society can control the ego but cannot manipulate self. That is why self-actualization is very important because it allows the person to know who he is not what other people think of him. Self-actualization also helps to know the purpose of being here and why and when to take responsibilities.

Kind regards,

Why do you ask why "we" are always happy to kill people? "We" aren't always happy, and I would not be happy if I killed someone.

In fact, I know professional soldiers who do not like to kill people, even though it is their job. Most war heroes (at least in my country) are not decorated for the number of people they kill, but for the number of people they save.

Dear Mr. James,

I was thinking in general as a human being. People kill each other for different reasons. I personally do not entertain the idea of killing. However, to answer why people kill each other, it depends on the society, individuals and their values.

Thank you

You talk about people as if you talk about rabbits or rats..

Even wolves don't feel happy when they kill..

And Mr. Jamie speak about the soldier who doesn't like to kill!! isn't soldier a human as well and that is a nature thing?.... what a strange logic.

Dear Mr. James,

Please, I want you to know that I do have a lot of respect for solders. They are the ones who are putting their necks on the line day in day out; they make sacrifices most people cannot dream of. They also leave their families behind to protect us. Sometimes, they are unable to be with their new-born baby and be there with their wife. The list can go on and on.

Please it must be a misunderstanding. The topic was why people like to kill each other. I agree with you, No I personally do not like killing. I don’t like hunting. I do not like hunters.

I salute all the soldiers who are out of their country and hope they will return safely. My heart goes out to the ones lost their lives or were injured on duty.

Respectfully,

kk

Hi dear KK..

Man may defend for his family until death.. not for anything else. if soldier died in a battle, that's because he chose a dangerous Job.. and there are a lot of dangerous jobs beside the military service.. death could get in the most delicious time..in the bar in the zoo, and on the bed..

It is very true that death can happen anytime anywhere. I do not believe all the soldiers chose a dangerous job, what about those who are drafted? It is more complicated than that though it may be different from country to country. In any cases, I still have great respect for those who sacrifices their life to save others.

In a poorest country in South East Asia, soldiers are only burdensome leeches. It has almost 600,000 of them. 500,000 x 100$ per month x 60years ( 60x12) = how much? and they never fight nowadays. Because most of them come to make money only ( as their predecessors showed very good examples to them as richest people of the country and untouchable ) , not to risk their lives for the country.

No wonder there are more prostitutes, in military terms Double quick? So it goes in that country- boys are soldiers, girls are prostitutes.

In real life they can't even save their family. Since they are so busy with making money by showing their brass , they even forget how to load a gun.

kind regards.

Business people and politicians breed soldiers to bring up their wealth and powers to wag unnecessary wars. Upon which they make multi billion profits from multi billion dollar arm sales. Build there untouchable empire of money and power. Not for the ordinary people. They suffer casualties of wars and are made to bear the burden of feeding soldiers and buying arms.
But when the time of war nobody can protect them. Even won't care to defend them.

There's no thing like patriotic or just war in these days. All wars are to make money. Soldiers are only money making creatures. Nowadays these soldiers becomes smart enough , they make money for themselves showing guns. Oh dear.

We have 500,000 and still increasing , to fight with whom. to protect us from whom?

To fight with, America, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Laos, India . No?
If there was a war against them . Shall we win . No?

So to fight against nobody and not sure to win war- for how many years more we, ordinary citizens have to pay and feed these 500,000 soldiers, every day . We've fed them since 1948. No wars, no fights. Just make up battle to raise political powers money only.

Just feeding those who're bullying own people is not a happy feeling at all. I wish they worked like us and fed themselves. If there was a war we died together. No problem. Nobody dies twice.

kind regards.

And we don't want to waste our sweat and blood money on muliti million arm procurement to equip these useless soldiers.

We prefer to build and buy hospitals, schools, houses, cars, mobiles , laptops, HD TV and even beef and chickens which we rarely can eat. And Medicines so on.

kind regards.

Hello Mr Kyaw,

Have you known that we can kill each other not only with weapons but words, carelessness, disdain, faithlessness different dirty tricks which can kill the soul with a slow death . I used to be a young girl who trusted in everybody, and today I have to accept that I lose the trust because I am a born dupe.

Bye.

Yes my lady,

Still a learned brain can protect the misleading and misguiding. But It can't protect an imminent bullet.

Since you know you are a born dupe, you are a wise lady, who I admire.

Hasta la vista!

kind regards.
