Hi,

I heard this phrase: "Now I know there are a lot of people out there pitching for your gold".

Does it mean that those people give me their sales pitches to get a hold of my gold?
Or something else?

Basically, yes, as you described. You realise that 'gold' should probably not be taken literally and just means a more general form of money, yes?
