2) The harder you work, the more the level you will reach.

A better construction is to use two comparative adjectives as in: The harder you work, the higher the level you reach.

why don't we say " ............................................ , the higher level you reach."?
I think there is already a SUBJECT " YOU" so we shouldn't put THE

and why don't we say ,
" the fewer the problems you have, the better we feel. ( it must be the fewer problems)
