Yeah, I don't think so! Men and women age more or less the same. It's just that for some reason, in our society, it's somehow more acceptable for a man to look withered and wrinkly. Basically, a gray-haired woman is seen as frumpy and old, while a gray-haired man is considered seasoned and distinguished!

Oh, sure, if it weren't for the balding, huge round belly like a soccer ball, flabby skin where once muscles had been, the multitude of solar lentigines because the male species thinks its skin is sun-resistant and doesn't need protection, profuse sweating with the smallest physical effort, the showing of a half-moon because the pants don't stay at the hips, lucky if only the odor of alcohol is on its breath . . . perhaps a man would age better than a woman.

Uh, oh, oops!
But Alan, the way I see it, from the day of our birth, we start to age. And if we take a walk through the halls of a palliative care unit, burn victims unit, cancer treatment unit, etc., where we can meet people of all ages suffering and fighting for their lives, then we should not get depressed about aging, but be happy to be a guest on this beautiful planet in at least somewhat good health until we're shriveled like a raisin.
