This excerpt direct readers to see the entire text.

It's not right. Did you mean to say "This excerpt directs readers ..."?

I forgot the "s" for third person.

What I want to say in more words is:

On web page is an excerpt with a link to the entire text. The reders go to the full text through the linked excerpt.

So, could I say the excerpt conducts reders to full text (to the content)?

"conducts" seems a slightly odd word to use here. Also, your wording seems to suggest that the link is actually part of the excerpt, which is presumably not the case. How about "The excerpt is accompanied by a link to the full text"? Would that work?
