Hello,

I had a funny "accident" some years ago and people still talk about it when they meet me. I would like to use the verb "to remind" to describe the fact, but I am not sure about the preposition and the tense is not clear as well, so, I would like to ask which of the following formulations is correct (or if there is any other similar way of expressing it):

Everybody reminds me of/about/? the situation since.
Everybody has reminded me of/about/? the situation since.
Everybody has been reminding me of/about/? the situation since.

This sounds OK to me:

"Everybody has been reminding me about the/that accident/incident ever since."

"situation" does not seem an ideal word to describe any type of "accident", though I'm not sure exactly what circumstance you are referring to, so it's hard to know what the best word might be. Of course, if the topic has previously been mentioned you can just say "it" or "that".
