| I think they are all fine grammatically. The first two are more poetic, suitable for a poem or novel, while the second two have a more conventional structure. |

Thank you Luschen.
Would the sentences work if instead of "see" we had "danced with" or "kissed".
The reason I am asking this is that verbs of perception such as "see" often fit into structures that other verbs don't. (I saw him dance.)
1a-I danced with Melinda at the party, tall and beautiful. 2a-I danced with her at the party, tall and beautiful.
3a-I danced with Melinda at the party, a tall and beautiful woman. 4a-I danced with her at the party, a tall and beautiful woman. |

Yes, those work too. As indicated, the first two forms would not usually be used except in a poetical or literary context. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
