I know it is common for ESL students to practice English by reading comic strips. This is a hilarious site which gives irreverent commentary on various comic strips. It makes me laugh every day and you may find it interesting too. Some of the vocabulary is pretty advanced, but there are some simpler comments too. http://joshreads.com/
