Hi A. Wright

I must say, I've never been called a "Facilitator" before. Shall I think of you as the "facilitatee"?

You've apparently already looked the two words up in a dictionary, so I will simply put them into context:

serendipity:
Jim rescued a little boy from a lake. It was serendipity that Jim came along when he did. If Jim hadn't walked by at exactly that time, the little boy surely would have drowned.

(in) retrospect:
When Ronald Reagan was president, he reportedly sometimes fell asleep during cabinet meetings. He developed Alzheimer's Disease after he left office. In retrospect, I often ask myself if the effects of Alzheimer's had already begun before Ronald Reagan left office.
