Topic:some students like classes where teachers lectures (do all of the talking)in the class.Other student prefer a classes where the students do some of the talking.Which type of class do you prefer?Give specific reasons and details to support your choice.

There are two ways for taking class either the teacher talks about a topic in whole lecture or s/he involves their students and do discussion about the topic.While many students like a classes where teachers lecture and do all the talking, I prefer a class where the students do some of the talking because it makes students the active participants in discussion, students can exchange their ideas and can understand topic thoroughly.


First,It makes student an active listener in class is true because by doing some of the talking, it makes student to become more interested about remaining of the topic. For example, our of teachers has habit of asking questions about the topic in between ongoing class and encourages us to answer the some of the questions . So in her class we have to be more attentive and we all listen her actively. While in other class we are such a passive listener that sometime we don't know that class is going on which topic.

Moreover, by talking about topic in class we can also exchange our ideas with our friends and also with our teachers. We can get a platform or an opportunities to show our knowledge and information that we have collected on a particular topic. For instance, someone has very little knowledge about a scientific method. S/he has very less ideas to prove that method true. Now in class participation, s/he can broadly develop his/her ideas due to exchange of information by different students.

Lastly, if we are told to talked on a particular topic formerly, then we try to do great preparation on the topic and try to show our best . We prepare certain things by ourselves before the teacher explained in class. In such way, we develop a habit of reading a topic from the textbook before it is explained in the class. So, we can learn thoroughly due to this habit.

To sum up, as student's talking makes other students of class more active and also makes students understandable without doubts , I want that the teacher allow us to do interaction in class . So, I always prefer a class where students do some of the talking.
