Hi HamburgEnglish,
I have checked the word "oder" in a dictionary. It is a name of a river in central Europe running throughly several countries over there to the black sea. Could you please explain what its meaning used in your sentence with a plain English language.
many thanks,

Hi Mihn
HamburgEnglish was apparently mixing German and English because he lives in Germany. The German word "oder" means "or" in English. Adding the word "oder" to the end of a German sentence is basically the equivalent of adding a tag question to the end of an English sentence. Thus, if you replaced "oder" with the English tag question "do I", HamburgEnglish's sentence would be entirely in English. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |
