Hi friends,

I`m a brazilian english student, it`s my first time on ESL forum, I would like to know, how preposition may I use at frase bellow??

I left the keys ____ someone

in a sense of forgetful as on frase "I left my umbrella on the bus"

It should be "I left the keys with someone", but this would often be understood to mean that you did it deliberately, not that you were forgetful. To make it clear that you forgot, you could say "I accidentally left the keys with someone". This sounds rather vague, however. Often you would give the person's name, or some description of them. "I accidentally left the keys with Sarah / my friend / the landlord / etc."

By the way, the spelling is "phrase", not "frase".
