I don't understand the sentence, too. I would write I would want very much to move to a new house once I have that job.

This is an example of the so-called second/probable condition and the usual pattern is would/should in one verb and past (imaginary) in the other verb as in: I would buy that car if I had the money. _________________ English as a Foreign Language You can read my EFL story Party Conferences |
