'Nature' is the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations. It is an uncountable noun so does not take the definite article. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hi Lilia65,
'Nature' in that sentence means the natural world in contrast to the man made world. As it is an abstract noun in the sentence, it wouldn't need an article. 'Nature' with an article refers to a way of behaving or reacting to other people as in: She has a very kind nature and she would never be rude to anyone.
