Dear friends

I have to make sure of one preposition.

- She is a constant source of inspiration to me.
- She is a constant source of inspiration for me.

Who will help?

Regards

Hi Najam

I think both "to" and "for" are OK in your sentence.
But my personal preference would be "to".

Hi Najam,

To add some further comments on your question:

She is a constant source of inspiration to me.
She is a constant source of inspiration for me.

I agree with Amy in her preference for to but I feel there is a slight difference in meaning as used in your sentences. A constant source of inspiration to me means in effect she inspires me.

For me is almost a defence of the comment - in other words she may not be a source of inspiration to you but as for me in my opinion she is.
