Hi there,

I am not sure how to link word ending with 'p' with a next word beginnign with 'f' when pronouncing them together. The same problem occurs when I try to pronounce 'best speaker'. shoud 't' be silent? Can someone help me out here?

Thanks
Best Regards.

Have you tried repeating difficult words and word combinations out loud and slowly at first? Pausing between words helps, too. Practice as much and as often as you can to surmount your pronunciation difficulties. Eventually, you should be able to have a fluent speech, without hitting each word separately (which, in English, is only done for emphasis).

I'm afraid the 't' in best is not silent!
