Hello Raniaramzy,
Welcome to the forums. You need to try to use what you have studied several times the same day as you learn about it... then keep on using it as much as possible afterwards. that is the only way to remember it. If you don't use it, you will 'lose it' (forget it). Try to use English every day, even if it's only for a short time. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hello, "Thing" is a subject or object of a sentence. "Think" is a verb of a sentence. how can you separate from Thing and Think? Why you do not translate both of that words into your tongue language? i am sure it will make you clear. Give it a try!! Thuy Kieu, |

Dear Torsten
Good morning! I do not remember anymore about the passive and active sentence/voice.So i got wrong in qestion no.2 and question no.10,I answered "belief",i think --belief---is a kind of a noun?Am i right? At first,i thought that the test could be easy for me to answer because i already learned it when i was in school but its not,i need to analyze it very much. I always enjoyed taking a test and it was my favourite part.Thank you.
Best regards Donna |

You seem to be confused about the rule, Tymchuksvet.
The usual rule for making a noun a plural is to add -s, just as you see in your examples: mouth/mouths, month/months, dog/dogs, bottle/bottles, paper/papers.
The rule for adding -es is when the singular noun ends in a 'hissing' sound (ch, sh, x, s, z) church/churches, crash/crashes, box/boxes. miss/misses,
These two rules, plus the other standard rules for making plurals are neatly summarised in this table. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

1)Is it correct? "I am nervous with that work" 2)what does it mean "screenplay video"? 3)what does it mean "outside the house"? Thanks ahead! |
