No, the word big can either be an adjective or an adverb. _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Hi Torsten
More the reply sounds easy the most I is easy to make mistakes. For sure "thing" is a noun and "Think" is a verb word. Thanks a lot for this reminder.

| In the common use "Mean" is use in the explanation when you'd like to explain more. It's the word you put ahead when you'd like to be understandable. |

Hi, Torsten! I've done the test without probs. Just one question - what does "Past Perfect Simple" mean? I've never come across such a name of a Tense before. Yours. Hi Yuri,
The 'Past Perfect Simple' is often called 'Past Perfect'. Since the past perfect can have two forms -- the simple form and the progressive (continuous) form, it sometimes makes sense to add the word 'simple'.
Hope this makes sense. Thanks, Torsten _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Hi
The difference betwen think and thing can be found in the meaning of these words. In the worldwide we have the beings and things. People belongs to being class and the other creatures are called things. A thing can be an item, an article, a toy, an animal and so on. We use thing when we don't want to tell the name which is in his daily use.
Think is a word verb ie. without "to". it means to mind of somebody, something, our sweet honey who is far from our eyes and near our heart for example.
So we can think about how we are going to offert a thing like a gift to our mother during his birthday.
This is a small countribution from kevinzos
