Because the exact quantity of sandwiches is not indicated some is the proper variant.Article a cannot be used because of plural form of sandwiches and any is used in interroggative sentences :lol:

Oh, I still think "sandwiches" means 2 parts: bread and things between it, that make "sandwichES"
