Anybody vs. anyone #1 (permalink) Sat Sep 27, 2003 11:13 am   Anybody vs. anyone

Dear Torsten,

I just tried the first test in 'Errors in sentences' and I beg to
differ with three of the officially correct answers. 'Anybody' is as good as 'anyone'. 'Certain' is as good as 'clear' (if not better). Or am I wrong?

Met vriendelijke groet,
Bob Kernkamp

Dear Bob,

You are right, in the sentence you are referring to anyone and anybody are synonyms and we have made the appropriate changes. Please take a look at this post Anybody versus Anyone

Regards
Torsten
