Hi, Tamara:
You know Peter Pan? Wink As long as you think of happy things you can fly. Every language has its uniqueness and magic , which can make you feel restful and free when you are absorbed into it. I am not that Peter Pan , but when I use both Chinese and English I feel happy. Just like in a wonderful kindom where there is no restriction. I hope I can be a good language user. That is all. Thanks for your question. Wink

Hi Michael!

Sorry…

There is no need to say 'sorry' in the case, as:

1) I am very glad to hear that you've had a really nice weekend! Smile
2) Forum is a free and voluntary community, and there is no any 'timetable' or obligatory to answer (still less – answer immediately Smile). It is (should be Wink) just a goodwill Smile,
3) I also has had a quite relaxing Sunday + Monday (Bank Holiday), and so I’ll answer your answer a bit later.
Smile

Tamara

P.S. Michael, I’m not sure about the best use of retired in the case. Check your dictionary and don’t make me too anxious about your further membership Smile

Hopefully, no one of our friends resign the forum, retire into own shell, retire to a cloister or any other place for retire life Smile

Hi, Pamela!

Your potential employers seem to be quite patient giving you a whole month to think about what you want Smile

Anyway, I wish you every success with your applications!

Tests Wed Aug 30, 2006 15:58 pm  Tests

Hi to all!

I - personally - recommend these reading tests to try:
http://www.move-on.org.uk/testyourskills.asp

That contains a mini-test (to assess quickly an individual level), several tests of a bit different complexity + some road map to upgrade.

In my view these are good and adequate comprehensive reading ESL tests and – in addition - they provide quite clear explanation for all mistakes you made. Smile

Hi, Tamara Very Happy Very Happy

Hi, Tamara

How are you? I wish you were fain.

what about your latest news?

when I write in our favourite thread I feel in happiness.

I love drawing a small smile from through your thread :

Old........... New car:

There was old car broke on in highway ,and owner of this car try to stop another car for it to draw his car to town. Rolling Eyes

Suddenly, a modern car stopped(
Mercedes car ) the car's owner said: I'll help you ,don't worry about this matter .... Wink

I'll draw your car by my car to town and there you'll fix it.

The old car's owner said : but your car is very fast and my car will bomb if you drive fast, So please don't drive fast. Embarassed

The other man said : Ok.... if I'll drive fast you just turn on high light and use the horn , when I see that, I'll drive slow.

Ok, that good.... the other man said.

Suddenly, In the middle way , BMW car had come fast and it outstripped the mercedes ...........

Oh No this car outstrip me Mad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil ........... that impossible , I'll drive fast and I'll outstrip this car BMW.

the old car's owner turned on high light and used the bugle but Mercedes car's owner didn't slow his car....... Crying or Very sad Sad

There were in the end of way a traffic light and two policemen , three cars cut red traffic light .

The policeman said to another : you must stop all these cars.
the other policeman said: I can't ...the two cars is very expensive and I think owners of them are important persons in our government.
the first policeman said: have you noted the old car tried to outstrip the two cars ???.................... Question Exclamation

Not bad. If you're experienced be sure you'll always find a job. But one disadvantage:our town is rather small, so there are not so many interesting vacancies, just few of them.

Good job Wed Sep 06, 2006 9:23 am  Good job

Hi Pamela!

'Good job' happily combines four main things: the personal interest in, a road map Smile (field for the professional career development), an adequate salary, and… enough time to spent the money, you earn, for your hobbies. Smile

I have no power to make your town larger, but I know that when many people sincerely wish you a good luck – it works!

Good luck, Pamela! Smile
