And talking about the place i live, we call it the gods own country, the state of Kerala in south India.

thru the link mentioned below I can suggest u 101 things that u can do in Kerala.

I know something about Kerala.

It is one of the few provinces in India where almost everyone can read. This was because some king in history thought that literacy would be good for his people, so people in Kerala have been literate for a very long time.

If I have a student in my class who has an Indian first name, but a surname that is the name of a Christian saint or a figure from the Bible, then that student is from Kerala and speaks Malayalam. If a student has an Indian first name and a Portuguese surname, this student is also probably from Kerala and speaks Malayalam.

!Hola! Sun Feb 26, 2006 3:08 am  !Hola!

Hello Anna,

Benvinguta/welcome! There isn’t much more I can say in Catalan, unfortunately, but I wish I could speak your language, as well as the other communities’. You’ve made a lovely description of Catalonia. Montserrat Monastery and its surroundings are beautiful indeed and well worth visiting. Sitges, too, is a place of its own, I think, though for a complete different mood. A Catalan dish I like particularly is ‘pantomaca’* (don’t laugh!): with a glass of red wine at the elbow, perfect! (I’m not one for Cava, I’m afraid).

Ad?u and visit us often!

* Pantomaca: bread (preferably rustic) with olive oil, tomatoes and Serrano (mountain) ham.
