You can change something and adapt to something.

Hi,
'Change your mind' suggests that you now have a different opinion from the one you had before. 'Adapt' suggests change in a practical/physical/mechanical way as in: They have adapted their kitchen so that it is now possible to put a dining table in it. 'Adjust' is change in order to improve something as in: If you want a better picture on your TV, you must adjust the position of your aerial and move it to another part of the roof.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
'Adjust' is the wrong answer. It suggests that you alter something to a smaller or larger extent as in 'Adjust the volume on your radio. 'Change; gives more the idea of making something completely different as in: We've changed the colour in our sitting room: It was brown and now it's blue.

| I disagree with you Alain, if you can adjust your aim than you can adjust your mind. I think that both ‘adapt ‘and ‘adjust ‘are correct |
