Subjuntive or not? #1 (permalink) Sun Jun 04, 2006 16:33 pm   Subjuntive or not?

Hi,

In Dan Browns's novel Angels and demons , a character says,

* I think it best she not come up here and see her
father this way."

I do not think it is subjunctive, or is it ?

Please explain why not :

...she does not come up here...

Hi Tom

Yes, I would say that's subjunctive.
