My name is Shihad living in united arab emirates. my home location is in capital of this country Abudhabi. I am working in Environmental Consultancy for their Equipment service Dept. and we want to save our earth from pollutions and we are monitoring the environmental condition those are related to noise,dust,..etc.

I think the only difference between acronyms and abbreviations is that acronyms can be read and abbreviation have to be spelled, is it correct?
