Ok I understood the difference between an acronym and a abrevation. I had always had troubles with these. But now all it's clear.

Hi Mr.Torsten,

It's easy to understand that JAN is the abbreviation of January and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is an acronym. but I still have a concern when you said that FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) is an abbreviation, I used to think it was an acronym. Please give me more information. Thanks
