The monster itself had apparently no name, but everybody refers to him as Frankenstein. Have you seen the comedy Young Frankenstein, by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder? It's absolutely hilarious! |

| Usually, when you say "Frankenstein", native speakers understand you as talking about the monster. If you want to prevent this, you have to say "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Frankenstein's monster". |
