Hi everybody,

What characters do you think can make someone a hero? How is a hero in your mind and heart?

Hi

When we get the first view of this word " hero", we may feel that this means a person who dare do dangerous things or take risks in doing great things. Or we even feel we cannot be one.

Well, personally i think a hero does not have to be a person who behaves this way. To me, parents who work hard to support their children and help them do their homework though they are busy are heroes. Teachers who are always willing to help their students reach success are also heroes. A hero can be a person who picked up something that you did not realize you may have dropped off somewhere and returned it to you!!!

A hero, to me, is a person who can be kind enough to people in every situation.

What do you think? Very Happy

You have made a very good point, Sunflower! I totally agree with you and would just add that the mere fact of surviving in this jungle of a world should make us all heroes Smile .

If, in addition, we can do so without hurting each other in the process, we are all the more heroes. Now, the people in your examples definitely fall into the category of superheroes!!

Absolutely, Ocean Gemini! This kind of people must be very rare, though. To keep smiling in the darkest moments is hard enough as it is. But a bunch of people attain the miracle of making others smile along the way, God bless them!

Heroes Tue Jun 20, 2006 5:44 am  Heroes

Great examples of heroes, guys. Heroes aren't determined by the hero. A hero is chosen by not only an individual affected by someone's efforts, but also by onlookers not involved at all. A hero reaches someone's heart without even trying. A hero puts others before himself/herself. A hero is modest and selfless. A hero is rare and welcomed.

Thank you for starting this topic, and I will thank all the heroes in my life tonight before bed.
