Does 'we are running late' means 'we are always become late' or sth like 'we are again late'?

Hi Sevide,

We are running late means we have lost some time and now we are behind in what we should be doing. You can use this for transport when a train has been delayed by a certain period of time, say 20 minutes and you would be told that the train is running 20 minutes late.
