Not exactly. Communist can be a noun and an adjective, but communistic is always an adjective.
Usually we say communist when we're thinking of Marxists, and communistic is more often used in regard to religious communes, such as the Quakers.
So, a communist life would be a life under Soviet Marxism, Maoism, whatever. A communistic life would be more like life in an egalitarian religious community. |
