It makes sense, but is not quite grammatical. Try: to change the/my dressing

Your sentence is correct. Why all the doubts? Are you writing the sentences and you are not sure of your English Smile ?

Another way of saying it is:

I went to hospital to have my dressing changed for the last time today.
