I'm sorry you had to wait too long for my response but I will (try to) explain it.

In other lands, the most people think we ARE famous about windmills and roses, but the most windmilles aren't there anymore, because in Holland, they don't have enough space, but they really like to build.

About the roses, once a year there's a special event, all about flowers and roses ofcourse. (sounds really boring to me) But, don't think they're holy in Holland.
