Hello,

This is a very useful website. I like your tests a lot and it has beev very helpful in teaching. I am currently working as an ESL/EFL teacher in my country, Taiwan. My students aged from 5 to 70. Although I love language, it takes me forever to learn English well. I would like to ask some grammatical questions here, but I'm not sure where I can post my questions about grammar. I notice that you open a specific discussion for learners to have their opinions on the tests. It's a good idea and I would ask some if I come across any.

I look forward to hearing from you. Very Happy

Hello, Jailbird,

Thanks for the timely reply! I notice you are from Russia, and I think it is indeed a beautiful and lovely country that is exotic and that has been maintaining its historical importance for ages. One of my students showed me some photos a couple of weeks ago. I like the harmonic colours here. I feel peaceful in mind while I'm posting my message. And I'm glad that there's someone greeting me there. Very Happy

Do teachers check messages every day?! I'm afraid my curiosity of English would rain down this forum soon. Okay, it's time to log out now. Wish you have a nice day there.

Very Happy

Hello! #9 (permalink) Thu Sep 18, 2008 22:51 pm   Hello!

When I was a child in school in America I had a student teacher who was from Taiwan. Her name was Ruth Chen and she had come to my country to learn more about how she could teach blind children in her country. During the year, she gave our class names of children to whom we could write letters. I wrote to one of the girls. She was happy to have the letters because she was learning English Braille so we had a good time exchanging letters.
The next year I moved to the Philippines because of my father's work. I traveled in many countries and have always wanted to visit Taiwan but have never gotten the chance. Maybe someday I will be able to visit. I hope you will find this place to one where you can ask questions and just get to know people. I'm glad to meet you.
