Hello everybody

Could you please tell me the role of about in the given sentence?

1- Let me feel the strength of your arms about me. When you are gone my arms will be empty, my world will be empty.

Hi Tom

The word "about" means "around" in the sentence. It's usually the case that if she has her arms around him, he also has his arms around her. That's an embrace. Very Happy
