to separate; to segregate; to seclude; to set apart

Description of malinger (verb)
to pretend to be ill in order to escape work

The girl will not improve unless she changes her perfunctory attitude.

spontaneous motion; mobility

Description of skulk (verb)
to move secretly; to sneak about

The thief skulked around the neighborhood hoping to find his next target.
They found the boy skulking in the bushes.
The woman attempted to skulk away from cleaning the house by hiring a cleaning service.
