Dear Friend,
This is the fourth and last part of Sue's learning experiences.
Let's see what she has to say this week:
It's not easy especially when you are older, but motivation is so important, so is having fun whilst you are learning. I have a study partner, who fortunately has the same motivation and sense of humour as me, and we send each other our exercises by email, our English jokes translated into Latin.
To sum up: Motivation, stamina, and definitely doing a little EVERY day is very important.
My weakness is the vocabulary as there is so much to learn.
And of course, unlike learning English, we Latin students have no-one to practice conversational Latin with.
Dear Friend,
Aren't we so much luckier than Sue? We are not learning Latin but English which means we can meet so many interesting people who speak that language ;-)
Best regards
Torsten Daerr
