Dear Friend,

Do you know how many people were shopping at Paunsdorf Center today, on a Sunday? I would say more people than there are during the week. It's something almost revolutionary for Germany to keep the shops open on a Sunday. You probably remember how long it took to modify the "Ladenschlussgesetz" in order give businesses more freedom as to how long they want to operate during the day.

Of course it is harder for small companies to provide longer service hours. But then it also means a greater chance for more business. How often do you go to a shopping mall and you buy more than you had planned initially? Especially when you take your kids and spouse.

Dear Friend,

What is your opinion on longer shopping hours?

Best regards
Torsten Daerr
