Hello,

This is a line from a student's summary:
'In factories stand idle huge equipment which worked at full capacity earlier.'

Is it possible to say 'massive equipment' as 'huge equipment' does not sound right.

Thank you.

You're right. Massive equipment works, and huge equipment sounds a little hinky.

The whole line sounds a little odd. I would recast it:
'In factories massive pieces of equipment, which previously worked at full capacity, now stand idle.
