Hi

I received one message from cellphone stating that my mobile phone has won Rs.7,00,00,000 (Rs7cr.) from Coca cola company US. please send your address and all details to one gmail address. I don't believe all these, people are simply cheating this way. What is your opinion? My husband is shouting at me and he says" ¤ will throw your
mobile in dustbin.

Thank you

Hi,
I'd strongly recommend you to delete that message and pay no attention to this kind in the future, if you do not wish to find yourself a victim of identity theft one day.

Dear S.Shanthi,

I've received some scam mails and phone calls in the past. I always ignore them. I may warn others about them and look them up on-line. Sometimes they can be reported, though unfortunately little can usually be done about it. It seems to be a bigger problem in recent years. We keep getting calls from the same scam ring. Every time I tell them immediately that I know it's a scam and that what they say isn't true. They hang up on my husband or I right away after that.

There will always be people in the world who try to take advantage of others. The best thing we can do is to inform others that it's out there and ignore the scam.

Take care,
Megan

Here in Russia phone humbug is widespread, with lots of variations. Most of them are quite obvious and people are well informed about them so I just wonder if they get more money than spend on calls. But, unfortunately, sometimes some people, mostly elderly ones, swallow the bait so the frauds get their profit.

Don't be serious about such emails. They are rubbish, worthless, alluring etc..

If I won that money (for a joke) I would have been to International Countries Tour for visiting all countries. I would not sit in front of PC and spend my time.

Thank you

If I won that much money then I would travel the world, lead a luxurious life.
I would not spend the rest of my life sitting in front of the PC.

Hi Noren,

Thanks for your correcting the sentences. I should have written like this:
If I had won that much money, I would have been to the world tour for visiting all the
countries. And I would not have spent time on TV, Laptop, and PC.

Thank you

S.Shanthi

Thank you for your reply. I have not asked you to correct the mistakes. Who said I am authorized person for correcting the learners mistake? I know to get attention from language coaches.

Please don't correct my posts even if you find a mistake. If I make mistake only I can learn something, that is my policy, please don't interfere.

I am sorry. I didn't mean to interfere.
Mistakes are great teachers. Keep in mind, you will never learn if you don't correct your mistakes and move on.
