2. Why do you say like that.
2a. Why do you say that.
3. I have no house to live.
3a. I have no house to live in.
4. Is your house insured for/against fire?
4a. Is your car insured for/against damage?
5. Last night I didn't keep my diary.
5a. Last night only I didn't keep up my diary.
5b. Last night I didn't write anything in my diary.
Please correct them all.

2. Why do you say like that?
2a. Why do you say that?
3. I have no house to live. (Not really; the preposition 'in' is necessary)
3a. I have no house to live in. (Okay)
4. Is your house insured for/against fire? (against)
4a. Is your car insured for/against damage? (against)
5. Last night I didn't keep my diary. (Acceptable)
5a. Last night only I didn't keep up my diary. (Only last night could I not keep my diary)
5b. Last night I didn't write anything in my diary. (Okay)

5. Last night I didn't make an entry in my diary.
5a. Last night I missed making an entry in my diary.
5b. Last night I didn't write anything in my diary.
