1-He did not open the door for me to go in.

Can't this sentence mean:
a-He did open the door but for something else.
b-He did not open the door at all. He should have opened the door for me to go in, but he did not.
c-One could not expect me to go in. He did not open there and therefore I could not go in.

Gratefully,
Navi.

yes. It could also mean 'I went in but I opened the door myself, or someone else did so.'
