I've heard the magnificent, sweet voice of this bird since I was 20s. Now I'm in 58. It may not be the same bird that sang since I was 20s. But its voice and timing is the same. And it sings really beautiful. The same notes.

What I notice is that when it's singing, the other birds like crows and pigeons and doves in my neighbourhood keep quite. I wonder they're also listening to the songbird. The bird is pretty elusive. Yet I'll try to record its voice and picture when I have a chance.

Hihi.

Thanks! It's been very cold here lately. Dry cold, everything frozen, zero snow. But I don't miss snow because I don't like it.
I'll be waiting for the photo and voice recording of your songbird but in the mean time, can you guess what this is?
Can anyone guess, I wonder?

Ok, that was the winter's piece of art realised on the glass of my window. Ice flowers, we say.
After taking the photo, when I looked at it on the phone, I saw that it appeared like a forest with streight trees enlightened from behind by the pale light of a wintery, frozen Sun.
Today I discovered another piece of art, made by the same author:

At a closer look, it looks like this:

And the songbird is not coming yet.

Hangon dort. That songbird is too old and too elusive. We must be very patient.

My neighborhood looks just a little wintery now, because it snowed yesterday the way we sprinkle sugar over cookies:

But the snow was more generous with us two weeks ago:

The river is frozen now:

It snowed a few times here this winter and it was so nice to be in the street then, for example that evening:

When it snows, I remember my childhood, because it used to snow very much here and winters were real.

Now, the usual wintery scenery in my town looks like this:

Ok, if the songbird is so old, it will take pretty long until we see it, so in the mean time, you could show us your neighborhood at this moment of the year.
Just to compare, not because you made me curious, no, no...

Well said: hihi :-))
Really, make an effort please ...

Since I already showed you the star of Franz Liszt which stays along other musical personalities' in front of the Philarmonic in my town, why wouldn't we enter and enjoy a concert? What can be more enchanting than a concert for two pianos by Bach and Mozart? You can just imagine:

Speaking of music, do you think your songbird would like to sing in the park named Queen Maria on a perfect but frozen sunset behind trees?

Under the umbrella tree maybe?
It may be warmer ... -:)

This umbrella would be much better. I found it today:

This evening I found out about a charity action meant to help the homeless people face this cold weather: we were all invited by a volunteers' organisation named "Look inside", to bring to the the Central Park warm clothes for the homeless people who have been announced by the same volunteers to come and get them. So, many people went to that park with clothes today, they dressed up the trees and left a written note starting like this::"With love for anyone who needs it. Signed: a human being":

I found about it too late and I also found out that the idea belongs to the Bulgarians who did it for the first time in Sofia.
It's the second time that it happens here in my town and it will be organized every year.
I salute the innitiative and wish that next year I know about it in time so that I can take part too.
