I'm not sure what 'Party arid government bodies' are supposed to be. Where did you come across this term? It doesn't seem to be English.

This sentence was taken from the coursebook on translation.

I saw where you got this from. I think it is a misprint and should be "Party and government bodies are greatly assisted by scientists." The "n" looks a lot like "ri"
