Hi,

Please could you help me to paraphrase the following sentence:
Her voice was speculative.

Is it possible to say that she sounded thoughtful/reflective?

To me, speculative means she was speculating, that she was unsure or not positive and making a guess. So maybe "her voice was unsure" or perhaps "her voice was hesitant."
