Meaning of the sentence

Please could you explain the meaning of the following sentence to me?
“The meeting was enthusiastically with him now”.

Here I think meeting is used to mean the people at the meeting. So another way of saying this is "The people at the meeting were enthusiastically with him now." - they supported him and his idea.
