Padmaji, you certainly know that in the English language words usually have different meanings. The action in a play or a movie is the plot. So, if the action in a play moves at great speed, the story unfolds quickly.

Hello Casablanca,
That is not necessarily the case, though it usually is.
If the action moves at great speed, then this might have the effect of making the play exciting (and not boring). On the other hand, it might make the play confusing, because it is hard to keep up with the fact action. _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."

hEllo Beesnees, why Beesnees and not BeesKnees? CaPablanca was a World Champ in chess from Cuba in the last century. He should have had the best imagination power or visual thinking. But chess is surely not one of those plays where the action moves at great speed. However it might get confusing. Thank you and have fun... |

When reading my nickname the most people are thinking I were a bit stupid, I weren't able to spell the famous city Casaplanca correctly. That's why I've mentioned it. Apropos pronunciation, my lovliest word is 'You must hear with your ear.' in British accent of course. Have fun... |

Good afternoon dear teachers Please make me sure that i get the meaning of this sentence correctly or not? The action ( story ) in the movie moves at great speed means the process of the story goes fast , and the plot has been told soon and it sometimes can be confusing and some times can be boring becouse you can easyily find the end of the story . Am i right? |

It means there are a lot of action sequences. (Sequences where exciting things happen quickly, one after the other) _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."
